Every Caribbean Person Carries a Story. What's Yours?
There are some stories only we can tell.
Stories seasoned with salt air and Sunday dinners. With market chatter, migration, missed homes, and impossible laughter. Stories that travel from Kingston to London, from Trinidad to Toronto, from Barbados to Brooklyn, from St. Lucia to Birmingham, carrying pieces of us wherever we go.
Whether you call yourself Caribbean or West Indian, whether you were born on an island or raised abroad, your voice belongs in this circle.
Join us for a four-week writing series where we'll gather online for two hours each week to write, reflect, and listen. Using the Amherst Writers & Artists method, we'll respond to timed writing prompts inspired by Caribbean life, memory, identity, language, family, joy, resilience, and everything in between.
You don't need writing experience.
If you've lived a Caribbean story—or inherited one—you already have everything you need.
Let's write the stories only we can tell.
Four weeks. Two hours each week. One community of Caribbean voices.
